The United Nations declassifies a number of documents on the 1956 revolution in Hungary, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Péter Szijjártó announced on Saturday. The documents can be found at the Columbia University, the first Hungarian academic to investigate them, András Nagy arrives in New York in ten days.
Hungary has been pushing for the release of the documents for over a year, she noted, adding that there are many documents whose existence is unknown to this day even to historians.
